Pharma15 Live! simply could not resist speaking with Jae Chung, founder of the “Turbo Tax for clinical trials start-up,” goBalto - and his furry friend, the Siberian Husky puppy aptly named Balto. Chung discussed his company’s mission to automate the laborious manual processes related to clinical trial start-up.
“Just imagine if you’re a sponsor, a large pharmaceutical company, and you’re starting up a trial, there’s quite a bit of regulatory paperwork and administrative overhead tied to getting all the submission packages ready…Our solution basically automates that process.”
Both goBalto and Balto the puppy are named after lead sled-dog on the team that transported diphtheria antitoxin to a small village in Nome, Alaska during an outbreak in 1925.
Let us know what you think of Chung’s idea – or even just post a picture of your own puppies – in the comments.
