Pharma15 Live! sat down Valerie Bowling, drug development industry researcher and founder of DPharm, during the conference to discuss this year’s presentations, and the very popular DPharm Idol competition:

“It came from the marketplace, they wanted an opportunity to showcase innovative, mostly new companies, that can prove that they have something disruptive that can impact clinical trials.”

Over the years DPharm Idol has morphed from an informal presentation with no judging or prizes to its now-esteemed status as a vetted showcase competition for companies with provable innovations for clinical trials. Bowling also chatted with us about the importance of the conference to the industry and some of her favorite presentations from this year.
