BBK Worldwide Receives Bronze Web Health Award℠

BBK Worldwide is excited to announce that they have been awarded a 2012 Bronze Web Health Award in the Patient Education Portal Website category for their online diabetes community, The Health Information Resource CenterSM has recognized BBK for its high-quality digital resource for consumer and health professionals.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Health Information Resource Center,” says Aaron B. Fleishman, Social Media, BBK Worldwide. “The goal of this online health movement is to inform, empower, and engage the diabetes community with the right online resources to help better manage their condition. Building this dynamic program required strategic collaboration among patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups. And it is because of this collaboration that this program is being recognized today.”

Due to the dynamic nature of digital health resources, the Web Health Awards competition is held twice each year. The 2012 Summer / Fall Web Health Awards received over 600 entries. Of those submitted for consideration, 7 percent received Gold; 12 percent received Silver; and 14 percent received Bronze.
