It’s that time of the year again – we are getting ready for DIA 2017 53rd Annual Meeting, which starts June 18th in Chicago. With over 7,000 life sciences professionals from across all disciplines expected to attend, we look forward to engaging in insightful and inspiring discussions with leading innovators from the healthcare and clinical research industries.
The theme for this year’s meeting, “Driving Insights to Action,” should set the stage for one of the best DIA meetings yet, and we’re excited to be contributing to the conversation. Our creative team is working hard and finishing up BBK’s booth for DIA, and it’s looking like they’re outdoing themselves yet again!
We’re very excited to be attending this year and will be hosting multiple speaking engagements and presentations, including a session by BBK Founding Principal Bonnie A. Brescia titled “Engagement, Education, Networks, Media and Societies in Rare Diseases: The MUST Haves” where she will be sharing her expertise on communication pathways and their impact on rare disease clinical research.
Additionally, we will be hosting a dynamic Innovation Theater “Building a Patient-Centric Mindset through Theatrical Contemplation” on June 20th, featuring actor, screenwriter and director Ron Fassler, who will share his perspectives into theatrical arts that deal with social anxiety and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He will be interviewed by Maria Scaros-Mercado, the executive director of The Greens at Greenwich, an assisted living facility for those living with dementia, and a respected drama therapist.
Interested in meeting with us at DIA 2017? Book some time with us to speak with one of our patient recruitment and engagement specialists during DIA, or stop by Booth 2012 while you’re at the conference. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
